2. Plant Foot Placement

  • Plant your foot: Place your non-kicking foot (plant foot) next to the ball. The plant foot should be about 6-8 inches away from the ball, pointing in the direction you want the ball to go.
  • Balance: Keep your body balanced, with your weight slightly leaning forward.

3. Striking the Ball

  • Kicking foot: Swing your kicking foot towards the ball. Use the inside, laces, or the outside of your foot depending on the type of kick:
    • Inside of the foot: Best for passing and short, accurate kicks.
    • Laces: Best for powerful, long-range kicks.
    • Outside of the foot: Best for curve kicks or when you need to add spin.
